Knockhil Motor Sports Club - Motorsport Events by the KMSC
The Knockhill Motor Sports Club will return this year with another spectacular line up of events. Starring alongside the British Sprint Championship and the Nothern Sports and Saloon Car Championship; we'll have the 2nd year of Super Lap Scotland - Scotland's newest lap time challenge event. We'll also see the return of Mofified Live and the Time Attack series in May. All-in-all a diverse array of motorsport will be showcased at Knockhill in 2014 - make sure you join us.
The Knockhill Motor Sports Club contuinues to go from strength to strength, with new members coming on board every year. As well as organising four car meetings this year the club will also be hosting four bike race meetings in 2014. After a very successful car racing season finale, the Club, spurred on by the demand have again decided to raise the bar in Scottish Club racing.
As well as enertaining fans with the best that Scotland has to offer, we'll also have guest rounds appearing throughout the yaer; with Modified Live, The British Sprint Championship and The Darlington & District Motor Club returning, we can all look forward to a thrilling Knockhill Motor Sports Club car racing season.

The opening round of the SLS Championship kicks off alongside our Hot Hatch Car Trackday. Hopefully a few of you Trackday enthusiasts will think about making the jump to SLS competition when you see the action first hand. See Super Lap Scotland

Super Lap Scotland returns for rounds 4 & 5 of the 2014 Championship battle. Support will come in the shape of the British Sprint Championship, seriously quick, single seater racing machines competing against the clock, to be crowned 'King of Knockhill'.

The final event for the Knockhill Motor Sports Club in 2014 will feature the season finale (Round 6) to the Super Lap Scotland series. Drama and tension should ensue, when so much rides on creating that perfect lap. The inagural 2Fife-2Furious festival will take place, paying tribute to the late Paul Walker through a modified car show and gathering.

Hot Hatch Car Trackday Open Sessions

Organised by the Glenrothes Car Club, the Barrel Sprint is exactly what it sounds like. Competitors have to navigate round a series of barrels in their cars in the quickest time. You’ve probably seen a horse riding equivalent, well this is exactly the same; just performed in your own car.
As an added bonus, those attending this weekend can give this a go; absolutely FREE. Just enter on the day. Prizes available for the quickest newbie Barrel Sprinter.
Charity Passenger Rides
A number of SMRC racers will also be on hand offering Charity Passenger rides around the Knockhill track in fully-prepared, Scottish Championship race cars. Sign up on the day, fees apply.
Just for a spot of fun the MTS Speed Camera will be back in operation this weekend. All the trackday, drag and SLS competitors will be able to see what speed their cars are clocking as the head up the main straight. Always an interesting addition.

The Streetcar Scotland event will now run alongside the BDC as originally scheduled (22nd Sept). However, if you’d like to display your car/club this weekend then you can do so free of charge. Simply download the registration form and send back to Lynsey. The only cost will be your £6 gate entry (£3 if you have a can of Nae Danger)

To help promote the British Drifting Championship event at Knockhill on Sunday 22nd September, we will have a number of BDC competitors on track providing some tyre-smoking drifting demonstrations. These demos will once again be followed by public sessions, which will allow you access to the Knockhill tri-oval to showcase your drifting talents on track.
**The SLS Taster sessions that were previously advertised will no longer take place, however, if you are interested in entering next year. Make sure you seek out our SLS representatives for more info. Streetcar Scotland has been moved back to it's original date (starring alongside the BDC event in Sept).
On 8th June the Knockhill Motor Sports Club are delighted to announce that we will have a couple of Radical Challenge races as an additional feature to the Knockhill Club event.

An adult ticket will be issued when the purchaser is over 16 years old.
An concession ticket will be issued when the purchaser is 12-16 years (inclusive), OAP (60 yrs+), Disabled, Student* must have photographic student ID
Any child up to 11 years of age will be subject to no admission charges and therefore gain FREE ENTRY to the scheduled event. (except where stated).
Kids over 12-16years now go FREE if a family ticket is purchased in advance.
Parking, at most events parking is available close to the spectator areas. At major events all parking is on site but may not be inside the circuit grounds and the circuit may not be visible from your car. For disabled there are a limited number of trackside parking spaces. The paved and elevated disabled viewing areas are close to these parking spaces.
Buses, we can accommodate groups arriving by bus. The car parks are not suitable for buses therefore passengers will be directed to disembark near the pedestrian gate and then the bus will be parked in the designated area.
At major events with a high traffic flow the drop off area for taxi’s etc. will be next to the TICKET COLLECTION POINT this area will have a suitable turning area and access to exit routes. Passengers should then proceed to the pedestrian gates to purchase tickets if required.
At all other events drop-offs can be made at the main entrance gate.
Animals are not permitted on site or in any of the car parks or camp sites.
Camping is available at the British Superbike and British Touring Car events. Camping spaces must be pre-booked and can only be purchased alongside a ticket purchase.
- Camping must only be purchased with a ticket (unless season pass holder)
- A wristband will be sent along with the ticket, you must keep both on you at all times, no access to the campsite is permitted without the band
- No animals allowed
- No awnings allowed on caravans
- Caravans must not be longer than 8m
- There is no power provided
- Toilets and showers are within the campsite
- Under 12’s free
- Cars will not be parked next to tents or caravans, there is a separate car park
- No fires or fireworks
- BBQs are permitted, they must be attended to at all times
- Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis
At all other events camping facilities are not provided, please look at our accommodation section for facilities close to Knockhill.
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another event. For ticket transfers the tickets must be received at the office before the event start date. Tickets cannot be transferred after the event date.
