LADIES DAY – Calling all Ladies!! Fancy a manicure or Indian head massage?! Check out the RPM ZONE (Relaxation, Pampering and Make over!). The RPM zone is the perfect way for the ladies to enjoy the event even more.(Sunday only)

This weekend as part of the Official Scottish Motorshow, an A1GP car from top team P1 based in Norfolk will attempt to lower the unofficial Knockhill lap record on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd May. Aberdonian Nathan Kinch set an astonishing unofficial lap record of 43.1 seconds in 2006. Last year an Arrows F1 attempted to lower the record, but ended with a spectacular engine blow up!

Major manufacturers and dealers from the UK and Europe attend the Official Scottish Motorshow and in previous years the show has had some fantastic preview models on show (Some even before there official launch in the UK). Participating manufacturers/dealers include: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Fiat, Ford, Ginetta, Honda, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, MG, Morgan, Nissan, Renault, SEAT, Skoda, Smart, Subaru & Vauxhall with more still to be confirmed.

New for 2011 – The exhibitors will be showing off their latest Green machines! Including the new Hybrids, Electric and dual fuel cars.

Car, Bike & Air Shows

World Stunt Bike Champion Kevin Carmichael will be performing his awesome tricks both days. Best known for his unique, dynamic and fascinating riding style. Kevin's tricks have been adopted by professional stunt riders all over the world. Kevin was the first person to wheelie a superbike with no front wheel or forks, and also has achieved this stunt with passengers!

Paul Swift Ford Stunt Show
World Stunt driver Paul Swift will be showing off his amazing stunts, in his Ford cars, at the show both days. One lucky competition winner will win a lap (on 2 wheels!) in Paul's car!

Biplane Air Display
On Saturday 21st the spectacular Biplane air display will take to the sky! Check out the amazing tricks performed by the talented pilot.

Abarth Air Show

Back by popular demand….the amazing Abarth Air Show will take to the Sky on Sunday 22nd! This has to be one of the best air shows in the world!

Terry Grant

Terry Grant will be returning to this year's Scottish Motorshow with his unique brand of stunt driving. It's fabulous entertainment for all the family.

FREE 4X4 RIDES

Experience what it is like to go seriously off road, with 90ft drops, water splashes and side slopes.



FREE TRACK RIDES

Many of the cars on show are also available for test ride demonstrations. Take your family out in the latest models around the famous Knockhill circuit making the Scottish Motor Show, uniquely a live and interactive Motor Show.



TEEN DRIVE TASTER

A taster of our hugely successful Teen Drive experience. 13 - 16yr olds get behind the wheel for themselves and receive a taster driving lesson from a professional driving instructor. £Charge applies.



KARTING

Have a go and see if you can beat "the Stigs" time. (From 8 years). Also includes the Student Saturday Karing Challenge.



RPM ZONE (Relaxation, Pampering and Make-over)

The Ladies Day Sunday offers the female visitors to the Show a chance for a bit of relaxation, pampering and make-over with the help of students from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. Zumba Instructor Evelyn Crichton will be performing within the unique R.P.M Zone (Relaxation, Pampering and Make-over) then at 2.30pm we are hoping to set a record for the most people Zumba-ing at once!!

Featured exhibitors include The Body Shop, Adam Smith College Beauticians, Arbonne Beauty Products, Silver Experience Jewellery and a Cup Cake Delicatessen.



SCOTTISH CROSS COUNTRY RALLY MINI CHALLENGE

A select group of vehicles will compete in a mini Competitive Safari over the two days of the Motor Show. With vehicles ranging from an almost standard Land Rover Defender to specialist Off Road racers like Wildcat or Simbuggini, we will show that almost anyone can enjoy our sport. If you like the deep-throated roar of large V8s, or the sight of vehicles dancing across gravel, this will appeal. Come and talk to the drivers, see the cars up close, and you never know.... it could be the start of a whole new motor sport hobby for you.



SUPERCARS

Check out the Supercar Session on track and in the paddock. World famous marques including: Lamborghini, Ferrari & Porsche. Also feature cars on display will be the new baby Aston Martin Cygnet and Rapide and the incredible Alfa 8C.



CLASSIC CAR DISPLAY

A magnificent display of classic saloons & sports cars of yesteryear as a special preview for Classic Speedfair in July. A real trip down memory lane!



MISS SCOTLAND FINALISTS

Sunday will see Knockhill host nine of this year's Miss Scotland Finalists. Last year saw them unveiling cars, participating in stunts and being hoisted shoulder high by burley truckers. This year should be no different.

The girls will only be attending on Sunday only from 12pm onwards.



ROAD SAFETY ZONE

The “boys in blue” are here promoting Road Safety. Get tips on safer driving from the experts. You can also get a trip in a police car!



MODIFIED ZONE

100 of Scotland’s top modified show cars will be on display in the Modified Zone, if you are part of a car club you have to be at this event!

MOTORSPORT ZONE

For bike and car racing fans! See Scotland’s top 2 and 4 wheel racers take to the track to show off in the Motorsport demos.



MINI MOTOS

Scotland’s youngest Motorbike racers take to the hairpin. These Moto GP riders of the future are guaranteed to entertain you!



205 ECOSSE RALLY CHALLENGE DISPLAY

See and meet the newest breed of rally drivers to come out of Scotland with their Peugeot 205s and Honda Type R rally cars. Also, it will feature the launch of the new 2012 Rally 1000 Junior series for 12 year old and upwards. Have a look at the cars and find out how you can become the next rally champion!



Adult Ticket Info

An adult ticket will be issued when the purchaser is over 16 years old.



Concession Ticket Info

An concession ticket will be issued when the purchaser is 12-16 years (inclusive), OAP (60 yrs+), Disabled, Student* must have photographic student ID



Kids Ticket Info

Any child up to 11 years of age will be subject to no admission charges and therefore gain FREE ENTRY to the scheduled event. (except where stated)



Family Ticket Info

Family tickets consist of 2 Adults + 2 Concession* note children up to age 11yrs get free entry, therefore family ticket only applies if children are 12yrs and over


Parking

Parking, at most events parking is available close to the spectator areas. At major events all parking is on site but may not be inside the circuit grounds and the circuit may not be visible from your car. For disabled there are a limited number of trackside parking spaces. The paved and elevated disabled viewing areas are close to these parking spaces.



Buses

Buses, we can accommodate groups arriving by bus.  The car parks are not suitable for buses therefore passengers will be directed to disembark near the pedestrian gate and then the bus will be parked in the designated area.



Drop-offs / Taxis

At major events with a high traffic flow the drop off area for taxi’s etc. will be next to the TICKET COLLECTION POINT this area will have a suitable turning area and access to exit routes. Passengers should then proceed to the pedestrian gates to purchase tickets if required.

At all other events drop-offs can be made at the main entrance gate.



Carers

Carers in possession of ID or a letter to confirm they are a carer get free entry when accompanying a disabled person.


Animals

Animals are not permitted on site or in any of the car parks or camp sites.



Camping

Camping is available at the British Superbike and British Touring Car events. Camping spaces must be pre-booked and can only be purchased alongside a ticket purchase.

  • Camping must only be purchased with a ticket (unless season pass holder)
  • A wristband will be sent along with the ticket, you must keep both on you at all times, no access to the campsite is permitted without the band
  • No animals allowed
  • No awnings allowed on caravans
  • Caravans must not be longer than 8m
  • There is no power provided
  • Toilets and showers are within the campsite
  • Under 12’s free
  • Cars will not be parked next to tents or caravans, there is a separate car park
  • No fires or fireworks
  • BBQs are permitted, they must be attended to at all times
  • Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis

At all other events camping facilities are not provided, please look at our accommodation section for facilities close to Knockhill.



Tickets

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another event.  For ticket transfers the tickets must be received at the office before the event start date. Tickets cannot be transferred after the event date.

NEW LAND ROVER EVOKE

LAND ROVER are pre launch previewing the amazing EVOQUE, not due out until September. The Evoque is the smallest ever Range Rover and boasts better fuel consumption and lower C02 emissions than any other previous model. Interestingly the Evoque will be marketed to a younger, more female audience for urban use rather than off-road. Land Rover will also bring the Land Rover Experience to the Motorshow. Where visitors can have a run in their fleet of 4x4 models on the challenging terrain around Knockhill.



MERCEDES SLK SPORTS, C-CLASS COUPE & GULL WING SLS

MERCEDES are unveiling their stunning SLK sports car AND C-class Coupe, in addition to featuring the Formula 1 course car, the gull wing SLS. The cars will have pride of place on the John R Weir stand along with the full range of road cars.



MG6 - FIRST UK SHOWING

Making a return to the automotive industry and Knockhill is MG, with its new MG6 Sports Fastback. Now owned by the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, the MG brand makes a return to the market after a 16-year absence. The new MG6 is built around those core, 87-year-old MG values that made it such a popular marque. The MG6, designed and built right here in the UK, comes with three levels of trim (S, SE & TSE), enabling the car to reach a broader market. Knockhill will have the first ever MG6 on show in the UK.



RUSSELL PATERSON MORGAN & GINETTA G40

RPM, Scotland’s only official Morgan dealership, will make full use of their new Knockhill showroom at the Scottish Motor Show by showcasing the first 3 wheeler Morgan in Scotland, as well as a Ginetta G40 road car. Other Morgan’s on show will include 4/4 (Sport), Plus 4 and a Roadster Sport.



THE LATEST ECO CARS

GREEN CARS will be strongly featured at this year's Scottish Motorshow, which will include the ground breaking NISSAN LEAF. The Leaf is the first commercially available family car and will be making its debut next week. HONDA are also exhibiting their stunning CRZ hybrid sports car amongst a show full of ECO friendly cars. The all electric TESLA Sports car will also return to Knockhill this year!



BEST OF BRITISH

The historic sporting British brands of Aston Martin and Lotus are showing four of the feature cars of this year's Motor Show. The ASTON MARTIN RAPIDE four door grand tourer will be joined by the unique CYGNET, Aston's first city car. In addition LOTUS will be displaying the SUPERCHARGED EVORA S and the track derived ELISE CLUB RACER



FORD WRC CAR

The actual Ford WRC car, as used by Hirvonen and Latvala, will take pride of place on the Ford stand at the Official Scottish Motorshow. The Fiesta has just recently returned from the WRC Rally of Sardinia.
